Stair treads carry load and are walked on every day. With them it is not only the look that matters, but the selection and the drying of the material.

Predominantly European oak sourced in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Origin documentation is available on request where it exists for the material in question.

Why drying matters most with treads
A tread installed at too high a moisture content keeps moving after installation. We dry in four of our own chambers and measure before dispatch, instead of relying on what the sawmill delivered.
What staircase builders ask us
Yes. We work with CAD, DWG, DXF, STEP and PDF as well as with a physical sample. After the technical review we produce a prototype first, then the series. We sign an NDA beforehand on request.
From a single piece we produce up to approx. 3 m in length, up to 140 cm wide and up to 80 mm thick. Larger formats are possible through project-specific composition – we clarify that from your drawing.
Both. You can order treads only, or treads, risers, landing panels and handrails as a matched set from the same batch – then colour tone and grain belong together.
We dry in our own chambers to around 7 % as a rule, and down to approx. 6 % is possible. Moisture is monitored during processing and can be measured before dispatch.
Our focus is manufacturing and delivery. Whether we can support a specific project beyond delivery is agreed case by case – please raise it directly in your enquiry.
Small batches are possible from 5 pieces. That allows a first order or a sample series before an ongoing cooperation starts.
