30 church pews for Dubrovnik
A sacral project with a tight deadline: 30 pews and further interior elements, manufactured and delivered in about a month.
The task
Thirty church pews and further interior elements had to be produced for a church in Dubrovnik. Sacral furniture has one particularity: it stands in a room where every piece is visible and stays in use for decades. Deviations between individual pews are noticed immediately.
On top of that came the deadline — the project was to be in place in about a month.
How we did it
We manufactured to the customer’s project specification. With 30 pews from the same batch the grain pattern and colour tone stay consistent across the whole church interior — that is the practical advantage when cutting, planing, gluing and finishing all run in the same house.
With sacral furniture the tolerance for visible differences is low. Thirty pews standing in one room get compared with one another by everyone who sits in them — seat height, backrest angle and colour tone have to repeat identically thirty times. That is a series requirement rather than a joinery requirement, and it is the reason the whole quantity ran through the same cutting, gluing and finishing setup.
- Manufactured to project specification
- One uniform batch for all 30 pews
- Further interior elements
- Checks at every stage of processing
- Transport-safe packaging
- Delivery to Croatia
The result
The project was completed according to the customer’s requirements and delivered within the agreed period of about a month.
