The customer brought his own project, a specific species and requirements for the surface treatment. We produced a complete timber house from it — including individually made windows and doors.

The task

The customer came with a finished project of his own for a 6 × 4 m timber house. Not only the dimensions were specified, but also a particular species and a special surface treatment. Windows and doors had to match — so not bought in, but made along with the rest.

How we did it

This project connects back to the origin of the company: Fahro Ćostović started in 1985 with windows, doors, staircases and wall claddings. Exactly that work was needed here again — only embedded in a complete building and with today’s machinery.

The result

About three months passed from drawing to realisation. The house was manufactured and delivered according to the customer’s specification.

Timber houses are project business for us, not core production — our capacity is around 15 houses per year. The customer brings the project, we manufacture. Installation outside Bosnia and Herzegovina is not part of our standard offer.
