Quality

Checks at every stage of processing

We describe here exactly how we actually inspect. For a technical buyer a statement that holds up is worth more than a marketing promise.

Checkpoints

What we check and when

Quality is not created in the final inspection. We check along the production chain, because a fault after gluing can no longer be corrected.

01

Incoming material and drying

Visual inspection of the raw material for cracks, discolouration and knot pattern. The drying process is monitored during processing.

02

Moisture content

Measurement of moisture at the relevant points in the process. Standard value on delivery approx. 7 %, down to approx. 6 % is possible. Moisture can be measured before dispatch.

03

Dimensions before and after gluing

Control of the lamella dimensions before pressing and of the panel dimensions afterwards. Deviations show up here, not at the customer.

04

Surface

Inspection of sanding pattern, colour tone and gloss level against the approved reference sample. For running series we keep reference samples so that several batches stay comparable.

05

Visual final inspection

Completeness, edge quality, drilling patterns and fitting positions before packing.

06

Photo documentation

Before dispatch we photograph the finished goods. That creates a common basis if something is questioned on arrival.

Your control

You do not have to believe us — you can check

Any time

Factory visit

Come to Usora and look at the machines, the drying chambers and production in progress. Possible at any time by arrangement.

Before dispatch

Factory acceptance

Acceptance of the goods in our plant before loading — particularly sensible for the first series of a new product.

By agreement

Third party inspection

You can commission an independent inspection body. We provide access and the necessary information.

Origin and complaints

Materials & traceability

Predominantly European oak sourced in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Origin documentation is available on request where it exists for the material in question.

Complaints

If something is wrong we agree on repair, replacement or return depending on the case. We ask for photos of the goods in question — together with our photo documentation from before dispatch it is usually quick to establish where the problem arose.

Check us before you order

Send us your requirements for tolerances, finish and documentation. We will tell you openly what we can commit to and what we cannot.
